Meet The Candidate

Born and raised in Vancouver East, Chris has been a member of the community for over 30 years. Through the years Chris has seen firsthand the challenges faced by our community and he believes that our community deserves a fresh energetic voice to advocate for the interest of Vancouver East.

Chris is a practicing lawyer in Vancouver for a regulator in the securities industry. He has also held the position of litigator in private practice in the past. Before he began his career in law, Chris worked in the financial services industry for several years. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Bond University in Australia. Chris has been a member with the Law Society of British Columbia since 2012.

Chris supports the Conservative platform to:

reduce debt and balance the federal budget;

reduce regulation and taxes for small businesses;

reduce personal income tax and provide tax credits that put more money in the pockets of Canadians;

immigration reform that reunifies families;

comprehensive approach to opioid crisis and

real plan to address climate change.

As a husband and father of 2 children, Chris understands the challenges that face young families in the Lower Mainland. On the weekends you’ll often find Chris and his family enjoying the parks in Hasting-Sunrise/Renfrew area then shopping at an Italian deli and taking a stroll on Commercial Drive.
